Elder Planning Alliance is committed to offering the best possible service for its clients. Filing for Medicaid can be a tedious and overwhelming project. However, Elder Planning Alliance handles the entire procedure from beginning to end.
Here is a summary of what we will do:
- Treat each client in a professional and courteous manner and be available to the client to answer questions relating to the Medicaid application process.
- Explain the procedures and strategies for preserving assets and overcoming possible gifting mistakes
- Follow through with all necessary procedures and paperwork through the entire Medicaid application process
- Assist the client with organizing all necessary paperwork as required by Medicaid during the application process
- Being prompt in all services and in the return of phone calls
- Attend all appointments with the DCF caseworker
- Follow through with unfinished or open items as requested by DCF during the Medicaid application process
- Keep the nursing home or assisted living facility completely informed of the Medicaid application status and contact all responsible parties when the application has been approved
- Make arrangements for changing the Designated Representative and associated mailing address to a family member when approval process has been completed
