Elder Planning Alliance is committed to offering the best possible service for its clients. Filing for Medicaid can be a tedious and overwhelming project. However, Elder Planning Alliance handles the entire procedure from beginning to end.

Here is a summary of what we will do:

  1. Treat each client in a professional and courteous manner and be available to the client to answer questions relating to the Medicaid application process.
  2. Explain the procedures and strategies for preserving assets and overcoming possible gifting mistakes
  3. Follow through with all necessary procedures and paperwork through the entire Medicaid application process
  4. Assist the client with organizing all necessary paperwork as required by Medicaid during the application process
  5. Being prompt in all services and in the return of phone calls
  6. Attend all appointments with the DCF caseworker
  7. Follow through with unfinished or open items as requested by DCF during the Medicaid application process
  8. Keep the nursing home or assisted living facility completely informed of the Medicaid application status and contact all responsible parties when the application has been approved
  9. Make arrangements for changing the Designated Representative and associated mailing address to a family member when approval process has been completed
