About Elder Planning Alliance

Elder Planning Alliance was founded in 2003 to offer counseling to families seeking nursing home care.

Utilizing a network of care facilities, rehabilitation centers, state and federal agencies, Medicaid, and Medicare experts, and attorneys specializing in the field of elder affairs, Elder Planning Alliance has helped numerous families place loved ones in healthcare facilities.

Elder Planning Alliance offers payment counseling, Medicaid counseling, family financial counseling, AfterLoss™ counseling, and a referral service for attorneys, funeral homes, insurance claims, and social security benefits.

An initial counseling service is free to clients.

Rick Schell, president and founder, is a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors and a noted speaker who has held seminars across the United States. Rick has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry and is the author or co-author of several training manuals and articles on the subject of elder planning.
